What this
platform is
A private, verified workspace where people working in for-hire transportation raise the problems holding the trade back, put their name behind the ones that matter, and give the association evidence it can take to carriers, regulators and vendors.
Why it exists
Individually, an operator with a complaint has no leverage. A carrier can ignore one angry phone call. What it cannot ignore is four hundred verified operators signed onto the same documented problem, with a specific remedy attached.
That is the whole idea. The platform turns scattered frustration into a record: who is affected, what it costs, what should change, and how many members are prepared to put their name to it.
Who uses it
- Visitors
- Anyone on the public website. They can read published issues and see how many members have signed each one, but never who signed, and never member-only content.
- Members
- Verified people working in the trade. They raise issues, sign in support of them, take part in discussion, browse the participant register, and submit confidential ratings.
- Administrators
- Association staff. They approve applications, move issues through review and publication, maintain the participant register, moderate discussion and read the confidential ratings.
The four parts
Membership. Application, two-factor verification, and administrator review. Covered in the member guide.
Industry problems. A member documents a problem, proposes a remedy and attaches evidence. An administrator reviews it, and once published it appears on the public website where members sign on in support and discuss it.
Participant register.The association’s maintained list of the carriers, brokers, finance companies, agents, attorneys, administrators and vendors the trade deals with.
Confidential ratings. Members rate those participants across ten dimensions. Only administrators ever see the results, in aggregate and individually.
What the public sees
The public website carries the association’s published issues and their supporter totals. It is the pressure: a carrier or regulator can see for themselves how much of the trade is behind a given demand.
Individual signatures stay private unless the member explicitly opts in to being listed. Discussion threads are member-only and never appear publicly.
